Evening on the Tok Cutoff Road, just south of Tok. Half hour later than the similar photo in this series. Weather changing constantly. Wish it would 'settle' on sunshine!

Beautiful shot... it looks like the road is rippled from ground movement, am I seeing that correctly?

Thanks Wanda and echinodermata.

Yes echinodermata, earthquakes and shifting permafrost make it impossible to have a nice, flat, smooth road for very long. Perfect the first year they are built, then time moves things around... :)

Sunshine, i've forgotten what that looks like. We've got a summer under the jet stream, which generally means cloud & rain! Wonderful view & congrats on AC.

Thanks Dave. This was a brief respite from almost constant rain we are having this summer also.

About katy99780
katy99780 I've lived in Alaska since 1969. I really love this wild land. The extremes of the far north shape and affect every living thing. Extremes of weather, elevation, daylight hours, isolation, flora and fauna, nothing in Nature is insignificant.I have a Davis Vantage Pro weather station, uploading to Wunderground, (Turks on the Tundra) the National Weather Service, the Citizen Weather Observation Program and MADIS (Meteorological Assimilation Data Ingest System).
