This has been a disastrous year for my fruit trees, for reasons I only partly understand. This peach is dying, after its companion died, apparently of black rot, last summer. There will be no peaches in my orchard ever again. I am seriously considering cutting down all my fruit trees and planting crape myrtles or something else that will at least look pretty and not be so much work. Can you tell how disgusted I am?
