High pressure will remain perched north of Florida over the next several days, with a slow meander to the east expected. Surface winds will begin northerly today before shifting to a more easterly direction late in the weekend and early next week. Moisture return associated with the easterly flow may help to generate partly cloudy skies during the afternoon beginning Sunday.

A WEAK AND DRY COLD FRONT MOVES ACROSS THE AREA TUESDAY AND TUESDAY EVENING. LATEST MODEL DATA SHOWS NO SIGNIFICANT WEATHER OR RAIN ASSOCIATED WITH THIS FRONT. TEMPERATURES WILL WARM BACK UP TO NEAR NORMAL AHEAD OF THE FRONT ON TUESDAY...BUT WILL QUICKLY COOL DOWN TO SEVERAL DEGREES BELOW NORMAL BEHIND THE FRONTAL PASSAGE. IN GENERAL...VERY BENIGN AND COOL CONDITIONS CONTINUE UNTIL THE END OF THE WORK WEEK.
