Another quiet day on the prairie. I tried to do some work in the garage but messed up every thing I tried. The dimentia is a real pain in the butt.
Today my suster from Medicine Hat will arrive. She's coming for the funeral of a step uncle. He went the way I hope I can go. He went to sleep at night and never woke.
I had news lately that my daughter from Newfoundland will be coming in August. That sure will be nice.
Well time to go, the Queen has just got up.

Alley's absolutely right in stating that it's not dementia that caused you to have one of those off days while in the garage. Believe me, it happens to all of us every now and then.
Sorry that your sister's visit with you in La Prairie also entails the funeral of your step-uncle. I think everyone hopes and prays that, when it's time, we can all go peacably in our sleep. May he RIP and his surviving family/relatives be comforted.
How exciting that your daughter from "Newfie" may be visiting in August! Now, that's certainly positive news to be celebrating. Something tells me that the two of you have the same playfulness and humor (per that pic you posted, awhile ago, of the two of you kidding around while you were visiting her in Newfie). The Queen may have her hands full with the two of you together. LOL!
Supposedly, we were to have sunshine and a warmup to near 81F degrees today. Unfortunately, these nasty overcast clouds just don't want to budge and have left us, for now, gloomy and quite cool for this time of year. I'm beginning to question whether our blazing forecast for high 90's tomorrow and Thursday will come to fruition. I wouldn't mind it if we remained just warm enough to keep the furnace off and cool enough so not to use the air conditioner. Now, that would be the perfect weather forecast for me.
