My school bus driving son turned the corner to pick up a student only to
find the road blocked by a large snow drift on Monday 12-10-2012.

Note that this picture was taking from inside the school bus looking out through the front windshield. That mirror you see extending from the hood is the Cats Eye mirror used by the driver to make sure the front of the bus is clear before moving.
Chaska, like most of the Twin Cities area got about 11 inche...

You may have noticed a chill in the air this Thanksgiving weekend. The temperature took a nose dive as the skies went from clear blue to cloudy again and finally got us cold and wet with wet heavy snow late Thanksgiving evening. It snowed all night long and we woke to white on the ground again and freezer temperatures again.
