Cape east (32.5s/40s, 20e/50e) wind : W to NW 15 to 25 reaching 30 in south and 35 in southwest in morning and becoming variable 5 to 10 in northeast spreading to central part. Vis : good, but moderate in showers and rain in the south and east. Sea state: 3.0 to 4.0m, reaching 5.5 to 6.5m in southwest, SW swell.

Durban east (25s/32.5s, East Coast/55e) wind : E to NE 5 to 15 in the east and north, otherwise N to NW 10 to 20. Vis : good but moderate in showers in central part. Sea state: 3.0 to 4.0m except in west, but 4.5 to 5.5m in the east, SW swell.

Mozambique channel: wind : S to se 5 to 15 reaching 20 in extreme northeast. Vis : good, but moderate in showers in beira area and extreme north-west. Sea state: 2.5 to 3.5m, mainly SW swell.

Madagascar east: wind : E to se 10 to 20, reaching 25 in the north. Vis : moderate in showers and rain. Sea state: 3.0 to 4.0m, reaching 4.5m in the south, mainly SW swell.

Marion forties east: (40s/50s, 35e/50e) wind : N to NW 20 to 30, reaching 35 to 40 in southwest. Vis : moderate in showers and rain clearing in northwest. Sea state: 4.5 to 5.5m, reaching 6.5 to 7.5m in west and south, mainly W to SW swell.
